The World's Bee Museum

Yesterday I’ve an opportunity to visit World Bee’s Museum at Ayer Keroh Malacca. Maybe the correct word for it is farm coz museum are more to historic or pre-historic place. But the owner prefer the word museum and its ok for him. Taman Lebah Sedunia or International Bee’s Museum founded by Mr. Ong Kang Peng, a Apiculture Specialist. He started the bee’s business back in 1978. More than two decades playing with the stinging insect. I think all the bees in his farm have already assume him as part of the ‘bee’ family. That is why he never got sting in past few years. Located at Air Keroh Highway, just about 3 kilometer from the PLUS Highway Ayer Keroh exit. After the toll just drive slowly below 80km per hour mark (this lane have many traffic monitor or speed trap, I’ve already get caught twice, tu pun belum bayar lagi).. And find the Taman Mini Malaysia and Mini Asean, the bee farm is just next to it.
No entrance fee to the farm, plus you will get a welcome drink, what do you think? Yes you must drink the honey….honey. Its like an educational tour, enter and you will learn how the bees evolve from larva to mother bees and producing honey for us human to consume. They have put a real wild bee hives for your pleasure viewing. Interesting because there are many shape and sizes naturally depending on the bee species. The honey they sell at the farm of course not from the hives, its out from the box. Yeah.. modern bees today live in apartment.. cozy and colorful with stickers too. Other than that you can witness a candid showcase of honeycomb making not by Mr. Ong Kang Peng but the bees itself. Okay I forgot, why is this farm called itself international? That is because the Museum kept hundred bottled of honey from different continent in a glass cabinet. But you can’t tell many differences because the color are almost the same, accept maybe the bees have certain shape and sizes.

SMS Raya

Bila nak raya jek macam2 meseg mengucap selamat hari raya dan memohon maaf yang kita terima melalui hp. Di zaman yang moden ni dah kurang rasanya orang ramai menggunakan kad hari raya untuk mengucap selamat hari raya lagi. Semuanya telah menjadi lebih mudah dan cepat masa ini. Tapi x kurang juga ramai yang masih menggunakan cara "old fasion". Ikut tradisi katanya.. Rasa2nya aku ada menerima lebih dari seratus sms ucapan selamat hari raya dari teman2 lama dan yang baru.. Tapi cuma sebahagian je yang dapat di balas sebab x cukup tangan dan x cukup kredit... Huhu. Kepada sesiapa yang masih tidah mendapat ucapan balas dari aku dikesempatan ini aku ingin mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Aku masih ada menyimpan sebahagian dari text ucapan yang aku terima dan aku sertakan sekali di bawah ini..

PuasaRaya

Ramadhan telah berlalu meninggalkan kita, banyak kenangan pahit dan manis telah ditempuhi dalam bulan ini telah turut sama meninggalkan kita. Ada yang suka dan ada juga yang menangisi pemergian ramadhan kali ini. Bagi aku tak banyak beza ramadhan tahun ini dengan tahun2 yang sudah. Bukan dari segi amalan atau kebajikan yang aku buat tapi perbelanjaan yang aku menghadapi hari raya tahun ini. Mengalahkan orang dah beranak sepuluh.. Huhu. Bila nak raya je memang nak kena belanja lebih aku pun tak tau camne nak elak dari berbelanja dengan borosnya menjelang hari raya. Tapi kata orang setahun sekali, masa tu lah nak shopping pun... Tapi kalau dah beli x ingat dunia pun susah gakkan.. Bila kira2 balik rugi pulak rasanya kita berhabis duit nak sambut raya yang 3-4 hari je meriahnya. walaupun setahun sekali tapi duit yang dibelanjakan macam nak habis setahun punya simpan.. Huhu. Lepas raya pokai, makan "loti" loo.. Padan muka aku. Ramadhan hari tu sempat jugak aku berbuka puasa bersama2 kawan2 yang duk kat area KL.. Kira sempat jugak la aku shopping2 dulu sebelum tu..

Yang tengah bediri tu Amir n Wife dia Yaya bersama anak mereka Dani. Yang dah ready nak makan tu Saril n wife dia yang membelakangkan kamera tu Izzu bersama Mika anak mereka yang ada di kerusi tengah tapi tidak kelihatan.
